Steve and I arrived at the Lakewood Springs Club house, address 501 Mitchell Drive Plano, around 1:45 pm. We suited up and made our presence known to the birthday boy Aiden and his room full of party guests. The party had a healthy Star Wars theme with Jedi tunics for the kids, pool noodle lightsabers, Lucas copyrighted culinary confections, and Episode 2 playing on the big screen. We made our rounds and participated in some of the activities with the eager party goers and posed for photos. The birthday boy's parents had encouraged their guests to bring canned goods to donate to the Kendall County food pantry which was a fantastic idea. A large box by the door was full of nonperishable food stuffs. Steve and I said our goodbyes and tore down at 4pm. It was a great troop and a lot of fun. It's always a wonderful moment when a kid says that we were the best present they received for their birthday.
