"Join me... and make a donation to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer!"
Our Making Strides Against Breast Cancer team had a donation station set up on the sidewalk outside the store. There, we posed for pictures, gave the suburban crowd a good-natured hard time ("Hey. Where ya goin'? Where ya goin'?"), and made a great impression on the community. The store managers were very glad to have had us come out, and noted that they had a far greater turnout for the signing than they were expecting, in no small part to the scenes we were causing in front of their store.
We all had a great time playing in character out on the street, and we managed to raise $238 for our MSABC team!
Thank you everyone for coming out to this, supporting Star Wars Reads Day, and helping to raise money for a great cause!
