Star Wars is definitely NOT just for boys!
Members of the garrison made a grand entrance to the bookstore and took photos with several surprised patrons both in the store and in front of it. We then provided a little set-dressing for Carrie's remarks about bullying and her Q&A. When that was completed, Carrie's signing began and we took more photos with the fans and posed for some publicity shots with Carrie and Katie (who was wearing the Princess Leia gown that TKvanB had sewn for her last year!). The Goldmans were extremely grateful for our appearance, thanking us repeatedly. Carrie made it clear that in her eyes, we "made" the event!
