This was a return visit for SW Reads Day to the Village Crossing Barnes and Nobles. Last year, they didn't quite know what to expect and were kind of fumbling around just a little (I was brand new, and was fumbling around alittle too!). But this year, they really had it all under control and did a fantastic job with the day. They had story time, trivia, SW themed drinks, and some wicked cool staff who were dressed up in character too! They even had SW themed cookies in the break room
Me, Iceburgh and Raine suited up together, along with m'boy Aiden. TIE, Scout, 501st Clone and the ever impressive Anakin made for a diverse crew to help celebrate reading in the Skokie area. While the weather was a bit of a mess (it started POURING while we were there), the adults and kids who did show up had an absolute blast. Several customers came in costume, and a few blaster fights broke out among the stacks of books
