On Thursday, July 4th we participated in the 44th year of longest running 4th of July parade in central Illinois. A huge THANK YOU goes out to the West Peoria Lions Club who coordinates this yearly event. Couldn't ask for much better weather for a July. The crowd was as energetic and as always lined the entire parade route. Several areas of the route erupted cheers and others rounds of applause. The crowd alone makes this parade worth braving the heat every year!
