Dave, Aimee and I made our entrance into the backyard around 3:00, and it wasn’t long before we were surrounded by kids. After a few photos were taken, including a group photo, it was time to try to get the kids organized so we could start the games. This was NOT an easy task. Running around and toying with us was more of what they wanted to do.
Once we finally got a little more control of the situation, Hot Thermal Detonator was first on the list. A little over half of the kids participated, but it was definitely a hit, because we were requested to play a second game and several more kids decided to get into the next round. The next (and last) game was Star Wars Bingo. They seemed to enjoy that game as well, but because these kids were a little older, I think the favorite was throwing around the Thermal Detonator.
It was quite warm and humid that day, so after a little more than an hour, it was time to suit down, cool off and rehydrate.
Thanks so much to Dave and Aimee for trooping this party with me! It certainly wouldn’t have been such a success without you!
