
This has been one of the staple events in central Illinois since 2005. Its always uplifting to see all the Down Syndrome participants and how happy they are to be there and see us. While those in attendance with Down syndrome are labeled disabled I think you would have a hard time convincing any of them at this event that they are disabled, we all could learn a few things from their outlook on life. This years event raised $17,000 and 90% of those funds stay to help the local area.
