This was the first of two SW Reads events in Skokie. Event took place at Barnes and Nobles in Old Orchard. Compared to last year, it was pretty chill. What I didn't realize was that last year, the library came in and ran the activities. This year, it was just the staff. While they did a good job with it, reading stories and running a few games, there were never more than 4-5 kids in the area at a time. Solo troop for me and I had fun wandering the store, interacting with kids and helping set the tone for the day. They seemed pleased, despite the numbers being pretty low.

Unfortunatley since I was flying solo this was the only pic I got! me with the store manager.
