In an effort to help raise awareness for Be The Match(a stem cell and bone marrow donor program), we were asked to help out. Collecting funds and trying to sign up potential matches for people in life saving need of marrow, stem cell, and blood donations was the reason we were called to duty. Our host set up an area where we had the Death Star backdrop, troopers, and a photographer ready for action. A requested (but not required) donation earned a professionally taken and printed photo for each guest. A steady flow of people kept us busy most of our time invested. Our gracious host provided us with pizza and drinks. Easy troop for a really good, little known cause. Trooping the event was:
