Seeing as we are such a big hit on the 4th of July, Bartlett invited us out to take part in their 21st annual National Night Out. This is a nationwide event encouraging families to spend an evening outdoors. They had games and activities all put on by the police department. We weren't quite sure what to expect, and boy were we surprised when we arrived to see the crowds. This event was popular. People as far as the eye could see. There was a cabin for us to change in at the corner of the park. From the moment we stepped out the door, people were thrilled. I hadn't posed for that many pictures at one event in a long time. Being that it wasn't a Star Wars themed night, i was cool to feel how appreciated we were. We even go to flank the Mayor as he did a TV interview.



The next day, i received an email from our contact with the Bartlett Police Department.

I hope your members enjoyed National Night Out as much as the Bartlett residents enjoyed interacting and taking pictures with the Midwest Garrison. I can’t tell you how many positive remarks I received by having the Midwest Garrison at the event. I truly hope you would consider saving the date to come out to next year’s National Night Out Picnic in the Park on Tuesday, August 4, 2015
