12/17/15 - TFA Thursday Premier at Tivoli - Downers Grove
WHAT AN EPIC NIGHT! The 501st was on hand for the premier of The Force Awakens at the Tivoli Theater in Downers Grove. This historic landmark boasts over 1,000 seats and ALL were filled for this exciting show. The 501st suited up inside and then walked the lines of enthusiastic Star Wars fans waiting outside. The cold could hardly damped the mood of the evening. An hour before showtime, we came back inside and took up our posts at each of the doors leading into the theater. The 501st, along with the other guests, were entertained by a live organist who played all Star Wars music prior to the movie. A GREAT NIGHT was had by all!! We even made the front page of the local paper.
