11/07/15-Mini Comic Con-VAPL-Lincolnshire/60069
On Saturday November 7th 2015, from 11:00am to 4:30pm, seven members of our Legions were on hand in our Star Wars costumes at the Vernon Area Public Library's second annual "Mini Comic Con" event. http://guides.vapld.info/minicomiccon
It was an afternoon long event celebrating all things sci-fi, fantasy, superhero. All members of the community were welcomed attend to this free event, especially children and teens. There were several workshops, costume contest, crafts, and a photo booth. Our members were in costume and interacted with library patrons and posed for many photo-ops.
The library wrote: "Our library patrons really enjoyed interacting with the 501st." regarding our presence at last year's first annual 'Mini Comic Con' event in November 2014.
