With the release of the new toys, we were all surprised at the lack of troops, so we took it upon ourselves to find places. After a couple failures, we did get a hold of Target in Crystal Lake who was thrilled to have us out. We suited up at 11:00 PM, and wandered the line, entertaining the die hard fans and collectors who wanted to be the first to own The Force Awakens toys. When the doors opened at 12:01 AM, we escorted the crowd of 120+ into the store, and joined them in checking out all the new selections.
It was a fun troop with our fellow geeks and collectors, and was cool to be a part of the Midnite release.
There was no donation made.
