10/17/2021- Walk for Wishes - Montrose Harbor/ Chicago IL

Good day Troops!

Once again the great people at Make-A-Wish is holding their annual "Walk for Wishes" fundraiser.

This year, we're doing TWO events on the same day.

I will be handling the Montrose Harbor event, the 2nd event will be at Busse Woods in Schaumburg.

Here are the details:

Note: No blasters but lightsabers and staff type weapons are ok.

Please sign up with ID and costume.
Time: 8am we need to be suited up by so arrive between 7am and 7.30am

Event Time: 8am - 11am
Arrival Time: around 7am
Changing area: Parking Lot gang!
Event Description: This is MAW's first year back to in-person events and they are SUPER excited to have us again!
Duration: ( 1 - 2 hours)
Costume requests: Any but the big names should definitely try to make it out, y'know, for da kiddos!

I would say whatever it is, keep it comfy because we'll be walking around in the grass and you'll want a chance to pet Doggos, so i'm thinking Kylo?

I think Kylo would be great becuase we will have Rey!

Sorry i've been MIA for awhile, school and work has me beyond busy.

That being said, We look great for sunday, clear and sunny.

Hopefully we can muster up 1 or two more troopers.

Good day team,

Just a quick update, if you plan on being there, we will meet at the parking lot located right across the way from the event. It's the easiest place to be for the event. If you can't find parking nearby (and it will fill up fast!).

Additionally i will be there around 7.30am. So if you guys get lost or need me to wave my hand I will be there to help flag you down.

I'll be costume support and photog for this event.
