Welcome to the MWG! :welcome: Mooseheart is not too far from our home which we lovingly refer to as 'the zoo'. I worked for IDOT when we re-paved the road to the far east (Rt. 31) and was able to get a quick tour of the place. Naturally, I fell in love with the OK petting zoo, the Dairy Barn, and th...

Thanks for the help. I liked using Woochies cap for my Asajj Ventress. However, for the Aurra Sing, I definetly needed a custom cap due to the antenna. I'll try the sponge with the liquid latex. We were using the latex but we applied it with a Q-tip. Make sure you powder it afterwards. Then blow or ...

Need help with blending bald cap
I can't always get a good edge line with my bald cap and we don't usually know this until an hour before we have to go out the door  So when I wear my cap for my Aurra Sing costume, I have a noticeable line where the bald cap ends. Sometimes we have gotten lucky and had a very good seem but I ...

Welcome to the group! You are correct in that the members here have a lot of experience and knowledge when it comes to putting a professional looking costume here. As far as lacking funds, I should warn you that costuming is expensive :D Besides the initial cost of the costume, we pay for our own ga...

I am so glad that Maverick was surprised! I hope the memory stays with him for at least the next 3 decades:) My husband and TK604 had a great time and it reminded my husband how much fun birthday parties can be for everyone when a trooper shows up! You talked about perhaps doing a costume - if you n...
