Most important is to check with your GML and/or the Stormtrooper detatchment to see if they would approved parts for your 501st costume.

Bodysuits... I've gone through 3-4 suits and finally found this place: http://www.renaissancedancewear.com Awesome stuff. You can also order them with any mods that you can think of Stirrups, zippers, neck seal (etc). If you send an email, just ask about "Stormtrooper bodysuits". She'll know what y...

I have the Champions version and also the Walmart one, I always thought they were nice but since I got the ColdGear from underarmor I am really impressed.

The simple dive suit is ok for the hot summer days. But I'm still saving up for a set of HeatGear from UA.

Here are links to the official UnderArmor site and some pieces you can use. The first two links are for the ColdGear. These are great for cold weather trooping. I used this during the Rose bowl march and was very comfortable. Top: http://www.underarmour.com/ProductDetail.cfm?site_id=6&dept_id=1&coll...

I have both and agree. The diveskin will cost you about as much as one of the UnderArmor pieces. But the Under Armor is much more comfortable and helps to control your body temps.

The vinyl Don Post helmets are not 501st material as of the last time I checked. Based on the size and quality of the helmet, I doubt it will be changed any time soon. Great piece to start a kids costume career with though. Try here for a dive skin: https://www.island-scuba.com/p-DS0034.html You can...

You would have more luck asking someone to come and pose for your photoshoot. Most of us have extensively modified our costumes to fit ourselves and consider the costumes rather personal.

Have you contacted the troops in your city? There is a good sized garrison up there.

Greetings! The shins and thighs have had the front glued as well, although I haven't velcro'd them yet because I still have to cut shims for the shins (and the right thigh). Lingarn I'm guessing the right thigh comment was about some advice you got from a tutorial. The kit you have is the more rece...
