Re: IL-Rockford-SW Reads-10/5/12
We have been promised more pics (steph from wonderland is going to email them to us).. My favorite non-star-wars moment of the evening was when the owner's daughter was dragging around the suitcase that the Jedi costume we loaned the owner was in telling everyone that she was leaving to go to Africa...

Re: WIP Comander Blitz & Z-6 Rotary Cannon
is your head too big to slip in (could you cut the face off), or is it too big (like pushing against the faceplate when you talk..)... we have OSCS buckets, and both have the face-off so we could keep the neck ring... psykojedi had to add extra magnets and sand down the inside some so that his noggi...

Re: Guys, need your help on a Trooper Suit! Anyone know this
If you are interested in going clone- CTN (clone troopers net) is the place to go for more info- or PM one of us who has built one you like and ask who our armor is and how we found it via pm.. We try to keep that info closer.. I know 7956 & myself have ep 3 clone builds on this forum, and I think t...

Anthony says it doesn't look like his mg armor either.. The details look soft.. And something about the bucket looks funny too.. Idk

Which clone bucket did you get? (I think my/psykojedi7956's clone build is somewhere on here) and how are you fitting the shins? If you need help- feel freeto ask..

Re: Quick question and update...
Well, I got some good news and some bad news. The good news is, my belt came in the mail yesterday. The bad news is the belt isn't even close to fitting me, and I had contacted the supplier that makes the belt and gave them my waist measurement. I am so aggravated about this you have no idea. Altho...

Re: Armor in need of help
Please see 7956&5365's clone build if you are thinking of repainting.. We did NOT use fusion.. our clones turned out beautifully and I'm sure the non-flat whites would work just as well..

Re: Quick question and update...
I've seen the name badge magnets at hobby lobby and joann before, but i've had issues with thicker wools getting them to hold as securely as I would like if the thing i'm trying to clip on is a tad heavier... (hence, recommending the rare earth magnets as they are a bit more secure..

Re: Aspiring TK
Thanks everybody! I just got my brown box earlier this week and I've been putting in a few hours each day. The links you posted were very helpful. The helmet is mostly done and I am really excited to get to work on the body. I went with the AM kit (as it appeared to be geared towards someone who ha...

Re: Quick question and update...
rare earth magnets - you are best off getting them at Science and Surplus OR radio shack has them..
You can get them at walmart/joann/etc as the SUPER STRONG neodynium magnets (my spelling is wrong) but they are easiest to procure from science and surplus or radio shack (or the internet)

Can yo get your hands on some sintra?? It's really easy to work with (heat and mold) and works well.. Anthony made his CW anakin with sintra.. It's 2 different blues.. (mine is different than anthony's as the color on anthony's clone is REALLY REALLY hard to find).. I will have him post the colors when he gets back in..

Wow- it's been a LONG time since any updates to this thread- but I figured that I would share a touch.. 7956 suited up as Snape again for 3 things in the past 2 weeks (library, book release, movie opening).. and got some really cool pictures.. There was an AMAZING pic taken by the PR firm at the lib...
