Ambitious, Yves!
Thanks for checking in with us before your visit!
Hitman has done a few skyscraper stair climbs in past years. I'll send him over here to see if he's got a run in him!

Re: Anyone know where to buy wide calf boots?

I searched high and low for riding boots in my size, to no avail. Setting up a Saved Search (with email notifications) on eBay helped a little, but men's boots in my size (men's 11) are realy hard to come by. Ultimately, I ended up ordering custom boots from imperialboots.com. They took my measureme...

Re: New recruit in Chicago

Hey there, Jack, and welcome! I used to live up in your neighborhood, about six or seven years ago. I actually built my TK in the dining room of 1434 W. Edgewater, between Clark and Ridge. Good times, and a great 'hood. TKvanB here on the forums doesn't live too far from you, and she might be able t...

Re: New Candidate

I just wanted to post up saying that it's great to see another new trooper in the making, and even cooler to see an enthusiastic new recruit like Chills already helping the next aspiring troops to achieve their dreams of joining the mighty Midwest Garrison! Troopers helping troopers -- that's what i...

Re: question about participating

Atrek and Coin pretty much covered it. It would really depend on the event. Some of our troops have a cap on the number of characters that the host can accommodate, for example. Others are strictly canon appearances. When I was in drama school, they didn't allow us to audition for plays outside of s...

Re: Attn: Biker Scouts

I checked the fit this morning, and unfortunately, the groove on the detonator is only about an inch tall. Now that I think about it, I think MonCal or Studio Creations mentioned retooling their detonator mold to accommodate the proper greeblie. :? I may try using some putty to fill the groove in or...

Re: Midwest Garrison Booth Build

But none of us have Rebels costumes that would match it...

I think something like the Logo frame would be fine. Even if other units have something like that or an eWeb or a speeder bike, it's still something that many, many people in Illinois have never seen.
