Re: Hello...from Princeton IL

You could certainly do the Imperial gunner.
Looks like a good bucket in your picture.
All you need is the flightsuit - $129 at Wampa wear
A belt and buckle - Easy build.
Gloves
Jack Boots
You don't need a pauldron / bib to get in but it dresses it up some.

Re: Hello...from Princeton IL

Nice stuff.
I travel to Princeton once a year for the
Midwest Power rocket launch in the fall.
Are you planning to use one of those buckets?

Holster

McNeese leatherworks in Racine, WI. Cheryl is the lady who did the holster for me. I think it was $35 or $40. She saved a pattern of the holster in case anybody else might want one as well? I hit it with some leatherlac stuff I bought at the local Tandy store to shine it up. http://i397.photobucket....

Thanks, I won't .
Just packed the gunner for the two troops this weekend.
I can certainly see better in the IG!
That's big, but I want my ace too.

Way to repurpose your Gunner flight suit and belt, Skulls! I actually started out by ordering my TIE armor last July. Got approved for IC (off duty TI) by October and trooped Discovery World that way. Then got the good deal on my gunner bucket and pauldron by posting a WTB thread on the 501st board...

Finished?

Who is ever really finished? So, I am finally in TI armor. Trooping in my gunner has been great and I love how comfortable that costume is. I can wander around in that thing for hours and be happy. Nick, John, and I trooped a municipal band concert in Brookfield this past Sunday. My first in TI. Joh...

Progress report?

How are you doing Brian?
I'd like to get a look at that ROM/FX.
Thinking about buying one too.
Will you be at the Armor party Saturday?

Welcome

OK, here we have a fork in the road. Choosing a costume is possibly the most difficult thing you have to do right now. Aside from finding the money and a job of course. I must suggest doing your Imperial Crewman first. IC #1 it's inexpensive. #2 You will gain legion membership status and access to t...

Welcome

Good luck with your future costuming.
Have you decided?
Jawa or Biker scout?
You might even want to start with the basic IC
Imperial Crewman costume which is like a stepping stone
towards IG, TI, or TB.

Chiefs game

If you make it to the Chiefs game I'd be interested in the Transformers cardboard. Vader, if noone has grabbed him yet?
Thanks,

Holster next

I have a leather shop in town that caters to bikers.
She has helped 501st members in the past.
I dropped off the blaster and we talked about what the holster
might end up looking like.
I should have it in two weeks.

IG madness

Yeah brother, We'll put together a gunner luncheon on the death star soon. I had a gas at this event. I loved all the games they had set up for the kids but only got to play the one. The folks at the library really did a grand job. Who is that Armstrong guy again? LEM, to the moon, ejected from a fl...

Done is done

Took a few pics at the Community Day troop in Sheboygan this past weekend.
It's nice to have a canon blaster now. I feel completed somehow.
Don't let my wife see this.
