IL Fairview Heights Blue and Gold Dinner/Ceremony

So on Saturday the Empire descended on the Boy Scouts Blue and Gold Dinner. The event was completely Star Wars themed to include a 2foot tall R2 cake...it was really neat (Ash I think has a picture, please post). R2-D2 and his imperial escort entertained the kids with stories of their exploits and p...

Wally goes to the Beach

Well I've been working with Sirluke (Luke) on his Sandtrooper. He bought his armor already weathered with a really interesting helmet of origins unknown. Well he picked up an ATA helmet and we got together last week to trim and put it together, but then I realized the helmet would never matched his ...

Rex is esentially these parts: 1. Bucket 2. Armor 3. Neck seal 4. Under armor 5. Gloves 6. Kama with blue trim 7. Shoes 8. Holsters 9. 2 pistols 10. Pauldron Again the question is which style of Rex...real life Phase II AOTC Rex or Animated Rex. Here's a link to a recent build over on clonetroopers....

Re: Helmet Tutorial?

So what are you using for a base for the helmet? I will tell you scratch building a helmet I do not recommend. There are enough TCW armor makers that this is not neccessary. If you are looking to do a movie style (real life version) as opposed to the stylized animated version you can always use the ...

IL-Fairview Heights Star Wars Birthday Party

Well today I had the pleasure of breaking Kyle TB-8504 (F3RN) our newest Biker Scout in with a real easy troop. This improptu event came from a friend who's children are incredible "Old Skool" Star Wars fans. The kids knowing what I do wanted the 501st at the Birthday party. So who am I to say no to...

Re: best armor kits???

Hopefully you have swung by whitearmor.net and looked around. I personally think much of it has to do with your budget. Seems like AP has the most fans now adays though. I have an FX armor with an MR helmet. Worked for me at the time. Any of you newer TKs want to chime in please do.
