Landon's 5th Birthday

We were invited to help celebrate young master Landon's 5th birthday party. This was a last moment request from the parents who had just been informed from a neighbor about us. Landon had been to Star Wars weekend in Florida and participated in jedi training. He has been a huge fan ever since. The parents were very gracious and almost as excited as Landon when they found out we were going to be able to make. they had a fail-safe in place and had rented a Darth Vader costume for Landon's Grandfather, as well as a Chewbacca costume for his uncle.
I arrived at 1:20 and got suited up right away. they had me ring the door bell and Landon answered the door. He was awestruck, and spent the next half an hour showing me his star wars Legos, all the star wars goodies prepared for the birthday guests...and basically every room in the house, lol.
Landon's family got another pleasant surprise when Ted and his friend Paul showed up to join me. Once they got in costume, we positioned ourselves in the main entry and greeted the families at the door as they arrived. We posed for several photos and talked with the children and parents. After a bit Landon's grandfather and Uncle suited up as Vader and Chewie to join in the fun. We took some more photos with the family, and then suited down. The parents and grandparents were both gracious and appreciative of our appearance. And hopefully Landon got some great memories for his birthday.
