Craig and Lisa from Neptune Comics have once again asked us to troop at their store for Free Comic Book Day, May 1, 2010.
The location is the same as last year, located in the Westbrook Shopping Center at 2120 E. Moreland Blvd. in Waukesha. This in the same strip mall complex as Kohl's Department Store and Bartz's Party Store, roughly 1 mile southwest of the Barker Rd. exit off I-94. The parking lot has been rebuilt, repaved and repainted since last year, so be aware of the new driving lanes. They will provide their back room as a changing area for us.
In past years, they have used FCBD as a way to collect food for Waukesha food pantries -- everyone gets one free comic, but with each food donation, people get an extra comic.
We will troop from 11:00am to 1:00pm. I would recommend getting there by 10:30 at the latest, but if you need more time to get in armor (like me  ), plan accordingly.
Any characters are welcome; they love having us and so do their customers. |

I am a strong supporter of free comic book day - but unfortunately have other plans this year.

Just thought I share a follow-up here...great turnout and great weather, hopefully you guys got the same sunshine for your events in IL. Another fun day at Neptune Comics, a local store we have been doing events with for years.
