Hello All,
I just wanted to take a second to introduce myself. I'm Scott from Mount Prospect. Im looking forward to meeting and working with you all. My son and I met a few Garrison members at a comic book shop in Schaumburg during a food collection drive. I was very impressed with the quality that goes in the the costumes.
The first big challange for me is to get nail down what I would like to build for my self. I have it down to a select few: Biker Scout as I work in the motorcycle industry it fits well. 181St TIE pilot. Just plain cool. or Royal Guard. simple and elegant.
Talk at you all soon.
Scott

Re: New member from NW Suburbs.
Welcome-
Something to consider, the Royal Guard in ROTJ is not very outside friendly. I find it to be a more "indoors" costume because I dont want to get the crushed velvet robes muddy or dirty, let alone rained on. Just something for you to consider as you choose costumes.

TK1692, Thanks for the tip. I just love how simple the form of the character is, but at the same time is very striking and elegant. Perhaps down the road.
Randy, I've been doing a lot or research and it looks like that would be a good way to start out and build from there. I'm looking at the reserve TIE Pilot uniform as my base and then building up from there.
