Star Garrison Visit

Thanks for letting me on the boards Midwest. My name is Bradley Lawrence, 71CobraTrooper on the forums. I am a Star Garrison member but I am from Southern Illinois. My niece would like me to suit up for her 5th grade class when I am home for Thanksgiving. This would be on Wednesday, nov 25th. I am quite sure that West Frankfort, Il has never seen a 501st member and likely has not heard of us. There is usually a small newspaper story when something like this happens in town. I don't want to step on anyone's toes and I would love for someone else to join me if possible. I come home a few times per year, if I can ever join in on a troop, that would be cool.
Anyway, hello. Hope to hear from someone.

I am waiting on the actual class time. I will give us an hour before to suit up. It will either be the period right before lunch or more likely the period right after. So likely 10-1pm time frame.

I would be happy to help but that's a 5 hour drive for me, I wouldn't be able to make the trip brotha. Hopefully there are a few troopers closer to your location. I'll send a message to the Mando Mercs, there should be somebody close to the area.

I'm really sorry man, I would have loved to join in, but it's about 5 hours one way for me as well and with being on call for work I just couldn't chance being away from my area that long.

3/12 hours for me. Let me try and reach out twosome f our southern brothers and sisters. You may also want to reach out to the 70th Explorers (Missouri) as they may have some troopers more close to your event. A very large concentration of our garrison resides 4-5 hours away.
