Shoulder Pauldron Patch Installation

Post by SL9965 »

I just got some of the new patches. I want to attach one to my shoulder pauldron. What's the best way to do this? Hot glue? Sewing? Please help!

Chip
"I can't see a thing in this helmet!"

Sticky Velcro! That's a good idea!

You would want it to be removable for those events that are decreed 'cannon'.
But unless you are a santrooper, pauldrons aren't cannon.
WE experienced this at Disney World. Only the sandtroopers wore their pauldrons.
I like to wear my pauldron though because it helps hild my chest peice & shoulder bell down.
No big deal. It was just way too much fun marching in the parade---it didn't matter to me!

I've had a cog patch attached to my upper left chest armor for 4 years. Sticky back, Industrial strength Velcro has held it in place the entire time.

One side of the Velcro on the patch, the other side on the armor. Patches can be swaped out or removed and the Velcro can always be cleaned off.
