Armor construction

Post by Anonymous »

Alright... I'm about to redo my armor for the billionth time.

I'm going to try attaching the pieces with heavy elastic. (chest to chest, ab to ab, cod to cod) My plan for this is to glue a strip of ABS over the elastic to the inside of the piece.

Has anyone tried this?

Pros and Cons?

Hot glue or ABS cement?

P.S. I'm still looking for a neck-seal and orange pauldron.

Say Hi to Opal!

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub118.ezboard.com/utk101060.sho ... I got a note back from our supplier and the pauldrons are in production and we should have them available in a few weeks. The neck seals as well. They are coming from overseas.

I need your neck size for the seal and color/style preference for the pauldron. Used snaps on the thighs and calves.

The elastic worked well on the abdomen, trunks and chest. Have to watch my weight though, the abdomen is snug.

My armors on loan but I'll post some pics when I get it back.

"Who made that man a gunner?" I'm having the same problem with the weight. Since I no longer work 70 hours a week, the pounds have started working their way back on. I couldn't get the backs of my calves closed all the way, the last time I tried my armor on. Time to go hit the gym.
