Making Progress with my Biker Scout

Post by MusicalJedi »

I started a Biker Scout a few months back using SC armor and a KS helmet, and have made some progress. Hoping to order my soft goods sometime in September and then submit my photos for acceptance in the legion! Here's what I have done so far.

Finally got my soft armor in and fine tuned. Was able to suit up completely last night, and it felt great! Very excited to join the MWG!

YESS! We need more TIE Pilots. I just finished mine after 4 months of putting everything together and I take more pride in having it built myself than any ANOVOS or other company product can.

Yeah, I signed up at the Jolly Roger forum, and have really only started thinking about it. Will likely have to sell some collectibles to fund it, so will probably do it in small stages. Lots to save for with Celebration soon!

What a coincidence, I am also looking at doing a TIE Pilot. LOL I signed up at JRS, too, but haven't really had a chance to do any research.

Your armor looks amazing!

I am a new recruit looking to build scout armor like yours. You mentioned that the armor was from Studio Creations. Would you recommend their stuff? Has the gear lasted through a few troops and storages?

Thank you for any help you can provide

Hello and thanks for the kind words! I've been very happy with the SC armor. His customer service and communication were outstanding and he makes a great product. I've only been on around ten troops, but so far its held up nicely. Have you set up an account on BikerScout.net ? That's where I got all my info; some very helpful people and information over there. Feel free to message me if you have any specific questions; its a pretty straightforward build. Good luck!

I did set up a profile with the Pathfinders. I'm RedMaskedDevil over there. It's been super helpful, as you said.

You marked that you got your helmet from a different vendor than SC. Is there a reason beyond personal preference?

I ended up going with a Kropserkel bucket, since I heard the SC one was a bit small.
