Assuming one has a full TIE Pilot costume, what is needed to convert it to IG?
I've been to the detatchment site twice, but it only froze up my computer both times.

Re: Imperial Gunners
Just swap out the helmet, Ed. That's it!
If you want to go for a little more Gunner swagger, you can add a "bib" flak vest. For someone my size or smaller, you can get away with using a black sandtrooper pauldron. That's what they used in ANH. Other people who are a little bigger or who have a longer torso usually need to get a bib custom made if they go that route. There's an open run of commissions for custom bibs on the IGC forums, but Phyllis was able to make one herself pretty quickly.
But like I said, you don't need the bib. You can just roll with the cogged flight suit and you're good to go!

The guy who's in the full body photo has a GREAT gunner costume. I think he goes by "Fleetfang" on the forums.

Saweeeet!
I have a black TD pauldron, just need to grab a helmet that will fit the wife. Her TIE armor causes her severe back pain. She can't wear it for very long.I figureed she can go IG with minimal fuss.
Thanks for the info.

I'll still buy it off her Ed...
Re: Imperial Gunners
If I we decide to sell it,you'll get first shot.
I put way too much effort into it to let it go.

Hey, Ed....
Put some weight in the back of the armour to balance the chestbox. That might help her back out. Worked wonders for me!
