FX Lightsaber Customization(NEW PICS ADDED)

Ok so its been awhile since y'all have heard from me and i apologize for that closing shop and getting a real job(tell all in a diff forum)
anyways here we go:

(I dont have pics yet so please bare with me i need a new cam mine was stolen =[)

1st: get the FX lightsaber(one with the custome plastic parts) and where the activator switch is there is 3 screws (philips screws) remove those and make sure you hit the button so it is 'on' otherwise you might break the activator.

2nd: there is 2 mins holding the 'innards' inside the aluminum hilt push those thru.

3rd: after you removed it from the aluminum hilt there is a 3rd slightly smaller pin that holds the 'blade' in place and its superglued shut the plastic push that pin thru and seperate the plastic with a flathead screwdriver.

4th: is the chips for light and sound there is a connecter witch can disconnect the chips together do that and now you should have the light and sound boards disconnected.

5th: the smallest pin you can push thru and remove the 'blade' from the light chip (3colour LED) where you can connected via soldering gun more red(blue or green) LED to make it brighter.


BLADE:

Make 2 slits on the bottom of the blade (might have to file so the pins can lock in) these slits are so you can slide the blade on and off as you please.

PUTTING BACK TOGETHER:

Reverse all the steps as you please when you have 'finished' YOUR work.

By doing this you can put new LEDs or Luxeon lights to your pleasure ill have pics up soon so it WILL be easier...especially of my work and you will all be the first to see my finished product =]. if this is no help send an email to me and hopefully ill have some pics to share =] good luck Force Users of the 501st =][/img]
