Shadow stormtrooper and TIE ANH pilot!

Hey everyone! So I have ordered both my TIE pilot and shadow stormtrooper armor (yay for tax returns!). I ordered a finished TIE pilot and the kit for shadow stormtrooper. Hoping to have both by the end of April.

So the TIE will already be finished, so that armor will not be a problem. HOWEVER, I think I'm going to have some issues with the shadow stormtrooper. I've never finished armor or helmets from a kit. Firebat is going to help me, but I'll probably be looking to some of you guys for advice on finishing them (I really have no idea what I'm doing. lol).

Any tips for armor? I would have an armor party, but I doubt anyone would feel like driving down to southern Illinois to go to an armor party at an apartment...

I'm hoping to have an armor party in central Illinois soon. Maybe you could make it up for that.

Armor tips:

Test fit the armor (twice) before you cut anything.
Use the least amount of Velcro as possible. Snaps are usually better. If you have to use Velcro make sure it's Industrial Strength.
Fans are good for helmets.
Make sure you get comfortable boots.

Dont forget the TargWorx light kit. The kids love a blinky trooper.

Yeah...probably will have to wait on the light kit, depending on how much it costs. Buying two sets of armor might kill the budget a little bit more than I need...
