WAIT ARE YOU GLUEING THEM IN OR RIVITING THEM IN?
It make a difference......if you are riveting them in behind the ear caps then you just need to trim a notch for your nose round out the bottom to follow the contour just below the eye opening.....just leave enough sheild to be long enough to be attached to the side of the helmet on the inside and put a slight bend in the center so it follows the inside of the helmet....you can use velcro or rivits to attach it on the inside....if you're glueing them in as two seperate lenses then trace the bubble lenses like Jay suggested.

I assume you are talking about the helmet stickers? If they are they typical stickers, there will be almost instant adhesion. So take your time, caregully line them up and be patient. Try to make sure you dont get air bubbles while applying the sticker. if you do, you can use a dull, straight edge to try to push the bubble out. Even this should be done slowly. Once all stickers are applied, just dont mess with them and they should be good.
If you have the water transfer stickers (like model decals) again, take your time, but they will need at least a day to set. Even if they look dry, they can be damaged and moved.
Your bucket is the one piece of equiptment that EVERYONE recognizes, so take your time, and be patient when doing ANYTHING to your helmet!

Like Humper said, are they peel and stick (with a sticky back stuck to a clear plastic) or a water based that you have to soak and apply. The water based ones you have to soak in warm water for about 10 sec and then slide the paper off the back and the decal onto the suface. They then will be able to slide around on the surface of the applied area for a couple seconds. Then GENTLY dab them with a piece of tissue (like the one you blow your nose with) and give them some time ( about 20 min or so) before you touch them. If they are peel and stick they will stick instantly to the surface ( Like Humper said) and you need to be right on the first shot. I hope this helps.
