On Sunday, September 10th, volunteers from Nar Shaddaa Base and Midwest Garrison, attended the Misericordia Family Fun Fest. An Annual fundraiser that brings in thousands of attendees. The event showcases many tents with music and shows, games for kids, and eateries of all kinds.

This was an unexpectedly hot day for our volunteers, but we did great getting out there and helping where we could.

This event has definitely become a special place in my heart and I will always be moved when I see a resident of Misericordia House, become overly excited upon seeing one of our volunteers. These individuals, see the magic of Star Wars and are always overcome by our representation of this beloved franchise.

I was so happy at the huge turnout we had this year, versus years past, due to ill weather. But this day the weather was fantastic, albeit a little too hot at times! LOL.
