We dodged the bullet weather wise Friday night in Monticello, Illinois. They had moved the event mostly indoors due to the threat of weather.
Chip Childress-TK9965(the event coordinator), Ryan Summers-TK2429, Kevin Kemarly-TK3290 troopered up and entertained the kids and their "buddies", while I quized them on their knowledge of Star Wars Trivia and Emily TI/ID1802 applied their winning tatoo.
The first question for each contestant was, "Pick a number between one and ten." Once they did, THEY WON! The more courageous ones got to answer one of the ten questions. Camp Healing Heart was for children who had suffered the loss of a loved one or some other trauma and the event was meant to take their minds off of their troubles. The Campers were staying the weekend at the 4-H campground and a beautiful place it was too. Every one was a winner and as these photos attest, everyone had a great time including the "Balloon head Troopers" and TK118, you are not the only trooper to brave "The Bull".
