07-16-16 Elk Grove 50th/60th Anniversary Event

On Saturday, July 16th, Elk Grove Village celebrated its 60th anniversary and the Elk Grove Park District celebrated it's 50th anniversary. TONS of activities were provided free of charge such as zip-lining, bounce houses, jousting, bubble soccer, face painting and crafts, just to name a few. Members of the EG Police Department and Fire Departments were on hand as were representatives from several local non-profit organizations such as the Almost Home Foundation. Concessions were sold at "throw back prices" so that a hot dog, chips and soda were under $1 for a whole meal! Member of the MWG were a HIT as we mingled with the crowd and took photographs. A FANTASTIC time was had by all!!!
