Costumes of the Past

Post by DreamInInk »

While I'm working on a costume for the 501st, I thought I'd share some of the costuming I've done in the past.

Peter Pan for the 2011 Bristol Renaissance Faire season.

Another photo from the premiere is currently serving as my avatar. Really, they show off my sister's skills at stage makeup more than anything.

WARNING! The following Star Wars costume was constructed on a college student budget! Proceed only if you want to be horrified/amused by low budget costumery.

Yes, that beard is acrylic paint. I worked with what I had on hand and could be procured at Walmart.

We all start somewhere, indeed...
I wish I had a picture of my sad, sorry attempt at a Ulic Qel-Droma costume back in 1998. My shoulder scale mail armor was pains-takingly constructed out of brown poster board from Wal-Mart, and I think it was tied down to my shoulders with shoelaces.
