Wedding Reception Mission Report – June 11th 2010

This was a short but FUN mission. We were to welcome guests to Tina and Jimmy's Wedding Reception at The Belvedere in Elk Grove Village.

Originally to be Me Neil and Aimee, got cut to Me and Neil only as Aimee sadly had some major bucket malfunctions!

At about 6pm Neil and I arrived at the reception hall and suited up. There were 2 weddings at this hall that day, and both seemed very took back by the sight of 2 stormtroopers.

We posed for a ton of pictures, had fun talking to people and had a LOT of people from the other wedding party coming over to Tina And Jimmy’s entrance to come see us.
After guests arrived We escorted the new couple into the hall and posed for a few more photos before heading out. After all this is THEIR DAY, not ours.

For our efforts Tina and Jimmy have donated $250 to Make a Wish in the Midwest Garrison’s name.

We are working on getting photos from the couple as we couldn’t take any while in armor LOL

Did they ever give you a check at the reception?

No, They were going to make out the donation directly to MAW after they returned from the honeymoon.

I already have a Email to them for confirmation of donation and pics
