On June 4th, 2010, the Madison Mallards welcomed 501st Honorary Member Jake Lloyd as its guest of honor for UW Geology Museum & NASA Astrobiology Institute Star Wars & Astrobiology Night. Several members of the Midwest and Wisconsin Garrisons, along with a member of the Rebel Legion's Nar Shaddaa Base came out in attendance to help promote Jake's appearance as well as interact with those who came out to see the game (unfortunately the Mallards lost to the LaCrosse Loggers 10-3).
