IL-Bloomington AMF Circle Lanes New Years Eve Bowling Party

Postby TKRoland » Sun Jan 01, 2012 6:35 am

The Central Illinois group closed out the 2011 year with a bit of bowling at the AMF Circle Lanes in Bloomington, IL. We shocked the crowd by walking into the alley already in costume and ready to party. The lanes were hosting a New Years Eve event for the local children and we awed them all with our presence and exceptional bowling skills. Boba Fett broke a 200 game, the TK continuously tempted fate with his awesome spins that taunted the gutter, our Mando of the Yustapir Clan impressed us with his abilities to clear the lanes without the use of his rocket launcher, and our friendly neighborhood Tie Pilot elected not to bowl and instead took an honorable post as our ever vigilant and dependable guardian and protector. It was a very impressive and polite crowd and all the children were very entertained watching and interacting with us. Surprisingly we were able to bowl full games in between photo ops with patrons who made their way to our lane to take pics and cheer us on.
The event was a lot of fun and the Mando Mercs and 501st together raised $30 for the Princess Leah Foundation.

Attendees:
Mark Berry - BH4265 - Boba Fett
Jake Townsend - Mando Merc Mav Skirata
Roland Batrouni - TK4186 Stormtrooper
James R Noland - TX7696 - Tie Pilot
