We beat the heat!!
We had a nice turnout for Star Wars day with the Grizzlies, however, fan attendance was down more than usual. This is the first time we had it on a Sunday night. Typically it's during the week. Perhaps people were out of town, or maybe the heat kept them away. either way, we were there, and people were joyous for that!
Darth Maul even rode around the field in a vehicle and got the crowd to make some noise to win a prize.
we stuck it out til the 8th inning, and then called it quits. by the time we got out of costume and back into the concourse, much to Jon and I's dismay, the game just ended and the concession stands were closing in front of two hungry troopers. Oh well!
