Lots of fun as always...
and..
nice haul on the donations for MSABC!
That was almost as good as we did at the Joliet Library.
And...
I got an e-mail from my sister (the one who wore my Stormtrooper at MSABC 2009) and she actually works for the American Library Association and works with Library conventions and special events....
seems a guy named Roger from the Joliet Library sent a glowing report the the ALA regarding the "Star Wars" phenom...
so..
expect to get lots more Libraries asking for appearances...
As always, Artoo seemed to take a lot of my time away from general chit-chatting..
but..Artoo is worth bringing when I can.
The kids love him...
AND
Artoo is a "Clone Wars" character in addition to the original movies...so...
since so many of the kids these days only know "The Clone Wars"...we need any of those characters we can get our hands on. Will be good to have Javier finish his Clone!
Artoo's ride down the "dumbwaiter" that he reminds me is actually a "turbo or repulsor lift"...
I crack up everytime I look at this photo and remember that you could hear him talking in the dumbwai....er...
repulsor lift shaft..
