IL-Buffalo Grove/60089-Boys 5th Birthday- SAT 6/23/12

We were invited to Eric's 5th birthday party. Eric is becoming a huge Star Wars fan because his parents are huge star Wars fans. (They travel far and wide to see the Legion in events.) We arrived around 1:30 on an overcast Saturday. We got dressed in our best attire and were ready to make our appearance at 2. We escorted Eric's mom with her hands on the back of her head to the backyard. Once the crowd say us we heard the oo's and ah's! We then started to mingle and take lot's of pictures with all the kids and adults. After about 45 minutes and the heat and humidity starting to keep in we decided to head to our ship and cool off. Once we returned to our civilian clothes we chatted a little more with Eric's family Amy (Mom), Adam (Dad), and Zac (cousin of Amy). This is where we learned how big of a Star Wars fan they are. They even have a cat named Vader like Whinter does. Eric's family made a generous $200 donation to Autism Speaks on behalf of the Midwest Garrison. Thank you Amy, Adam, and Eric for having us and for the donation.
