This was a day that the Garrison can be proud of. (Although we are proud after every troop!!!!) With only 4 days to plan, a dozen fine soldiers made sacrifices and arrangements so that a true impact was made to the City of Naperville. We even had a support staff of junior troops to help out.(Thanks to Neil and Aimee for having the kids help out!) In a parade that brought a estimated record attendance of over 15-20,000 people, our troopers were a hit that brought kids and adults running into the street for photo ops and high fives by the dozens. Thanks to Cheryl who provided us with a vehicle and booming Music to march by! I am sure we will be high on their list for next year!
