IL-Mattoon/61938 - Bagelfest Parade - Sat - 07/19/2014

A short-wave(errr notice) transmission was sent into the far reaches of space(within my email account) requesting Imperial reinforcements at the annual Bagelfest Parade in Mattoon, IL. Our brave troopers faced a 2.4 mile hike over terrain littered with unclaimed candy, and the occasional road apple. Resistance came in the form of few rogue younglings which were easily dispelled with a quick flash of a camera and a high-five.
The event host was very grateful for the escort, and looks forward to our next mission with her at the Coles County Relay 4 Life on 8/23/14.

I am very grateful that Brad and Thomas were able to appear at this event, as it was a very short notice event.
Brad made the 2+ hour drive from Peoria, and Thomas participated while having a sore knee and having to work shortly after the parade that afternoon.
I take my hat off to you gentlemen.
