We were requested to be a surprise at the reception for the Groom by the Bride. Nicole wanted make a special memory for John on their wedding day. John’s favorite character is Boba Fett & even had it in his vows that at one point in the relationship he told Nicole that she had to watch all the Star Wars movies if they were going to continue to be together.
In contacting Nicole, the Bride, she was looking to be escorted into the reception at one point by us while she wore a Darth Vader mask. This was to be a complete surprise for everyone at the wedding with only 2 other people, her mom & matron of honor knowing.
In order to pull this off at this particular venue Nicole insisted it would be easier if we were to attend both the wedding & the reception. After dinner we were to slip away & get suited up. After the first dance & a number of other reception festivities Nicole slipped away so that she could make her entrance as Vader being escorted by 2 bounty hunters. John, the Groom, was completely surprised & was beside himself when in walks Boba Fett & Boushh escorting his wife wearing a Vader mask. We mingled & took photos with the guests.
We arrived at 5:00 for the wedding & stowed our totes attending the wedding & reception sneaking off after dinner at 8:30 pm to be ready at 10:00. We trooped till 11:30 pm.
