Event Summary: The Jelly Belly Candy Company had the honor of opening this years Sweets & Confectionery Candy Expo with a ribbon cutting ceremony as well as introducing their new "Star Wars" packaging which includes their "Galaxy Mix" of Sparkling Jelly Beans.
On Tuesday, Vader and his Stormtrooper escorted the CEO and her staff to the front of the show, and stood by her as she welcomed everyone to this years event, she then cut the ribbon with a little help from Lord Vader himself! We then escorted her back to the Jelly Belly booth, took pictures, guarded the Jelly Art of Vader and handed out free samples of the "Star Wars Galaxy Mix"
Wednesday, was more of the same, handing out candy and picture taking.
This was a great event to be a part of. The people from Jelly Belly could not have any nicer. A great time was had by both the Empire and the Jelly Belly staff. We had a few people get out of hand, but they were dealt with quickly by the Dark Lord himself.
Also, the "Bean Art" was created with over 11,000 Jelly Belly's and took over 100 hours to create. This will be part of a series released throughout the year.
