Henry was introduced to the Midwest Garrison at the Lurie Children's Hospital troop in December of 2014. Henry has A.L.L. childhood leukemia. He has been struggling with the disease for the past year and a half and ever since meeting the Garrison, he has been bitten by the Star Wars bug. He watches Episode IV and V all the time and has a Darth Vader costume he does not take off!
The Garrison was deployed to Elmhurst for an early morning troop. We met Henry and his mother while he was waiting for his friends to arrive at Pump It Up. We told him we had a few friends who would be stopping by to make his birthday party one of the best in the Galaxy!
After Henry and his friends went into the first jump area, Lord Vader, lead by his Imperial Guard and followed up by A'Shard Hett and a lone Stormtrooper made their way into the party. As always Lord Vader demands the most attention, Vader and his new loyal subject took pictures with friends and family and then proceeded to tour Pump It Up. When it was time for Henry and his crew to make their way into the next arena, Lord Vader and his escorts said their good-byes and headed back to their waiting shuttle craft.

This was a late notice troop, I had about a week to assemble Garrison members. I would like to Thank Kevin, Hawk and Mike for finding the time in their busy schedules to make Henry's birthday one he will remember for a long time!
