Fathers day, a day that I spend collecting funds for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life cancer walk. This year, it was a colder Father's Day. Temps didn't get out of the low 60's, and I shivered for 8 hours and 45 minutes. Lots of pictures taken, trading cards handed out and raised $554.65 !!!
I arrived at 8:15 am, set up my table and banners, then got into my Stormtrooper armor. I was out collecting money by 8:45, and went with out a break, except to get some cookies from the Subway just inside the Walmart store, but got right back out to fund-raise!! This is usually the Sunday, the week before Relay!!
