Re: Midwest Garrison Booth Build
If you have space for big impressive props, bring them. That’s the kind of stuff that catches the public eye and brings them over to your booth. If they want to go take a picture of some big prop they see from a distance across the convention hall, then they may linger around longer to talk to the ...

Re: Midwest Garrison Booth Build
Space at "conventions" is certainly dwindling, Jim. I will give you that. But a place like ChiTAG would likely give us all of the space we might ask for. CHIFi would almost certainly give us all of the room that they could spare. You mentioned JPL, and that's another place where we could showcase an...

Midwest Garrison Booth Build
A recent thread on the Legion Forums got me thinking... while we've been satisfied with our standard convention table displays in the past, I think the general standard around the Legion has taken a big leap forward in recent years. To see some examples of what the Midwest Garrison is missing, check...

I was about to cross post your update and bring things back from over there, but it looks like you've already been active on that thread now, Phyllis. Keep up the good work!

Re: Attn: Biker Scouts
Happy to help, Phyllis. :) If you do finish your sculpt, maybe the MWG scouts could convince you to break a few of those commando badges in half to fix our detonators. I honestly don't know if any of the local bikers have the right greeblie... Most of us are like Whinter, with just a few black squar...

Re: Attn: Biker Scouts
I had to find some time to do some investigating, but there's a long discussion on BSN about the greeblies already. Looks like Far Away Creations (MonCal) did a great deal of research and work on it this past January. I'll go ahead and repost your thread over there, but I have a feeling people are j...

Hi Allison! I already ran into you on the 501st Legion forums, but I thought I ought to say "Hi!" again here in our playground. :D Glad to see you diving in already! We've got a lot of events for Star Wars Reads Day coming up next month. (Many of which need event coordinators! *hint-hint troops! ;) ...

Re: Patiently Waiting to join (Bolingbrook, IL)
I always loved the AT-AT Driver costume. :) Andrew is the best resource we can offer her in the MWG on it, since he's walked the path before you. FYI, if you can find one, the Hasbro DH-17 is passable with only a few minor modifications. If you can locate one on eBay, that might be the simplest way ...

Atrek is correct. The Cosplaysky/CosplayYing/etc Imperial belts available through complete costumes on eBay do not meet Legion standards.
