Welcome!
Hey Nasni, Allow me to be one of the first to welcome you to the MWG. It's full of incredibly helpful and freindly people. Would love to see pics of you and Brother-Naush at the troop-event you mentioned in downtown Milwaukee. I'm also in the process of building a clone armor suit and have already b...

Hey TK257, yeah i've seen that link, it's on the Dented Helmet. It is more money to do it that way then to buy one from a local armorer whose made them. Also, from what I understand that helmet is not really approved by the 501st. I could be wrong. But I have one already painted "Rex style" but not ...

EPII Clone Helmet
hey gang, I'm going to give this a try on the MWG boards and hopefully someone can give me some direction. As some of you know i'm doing a Rex Trooper, it's nearing approval for the 501st. So I'm in the market looking for an EPII Clone Trooper Helmet. if anyone knows where I can purchase one I'd gre...

Gundam Suit
I have to agree with Radioactive, it depends on how much you want to pay. I've seen some anime costumers go in some sort of stretchy spandex material. But if you want to get that 'rubbery-hard suit' sort of look, might I suggest some sort of latex? I'd say paint it up, using matte paints not shiny. ...

Hey there buddy,
I would have to agree with you about the pants, looks a little too short. Sorry to hear about your stuff being washed out and pants gettin' ruined. But it still looks great! Hope you take some great pics from the Halloween festivities.

Resin
Hey Marvin,
question for you from a Noob. Why would I need to use Fiberglass resin? I thought you were nearly done with your armor peice there. But I suppose i'm wrong? Just looking to learn something new here and see if I need to apply it to my armor that i'm building.
Thanks,
River

Just as the parade started it began to 'trickle' then it stopped.
it stopped long enough becuase just as we finished up and dismantled Phyllis' R2-unit and slammed her truck shut, the rain/sleet/ and snow came in out of nowhere! so we REALLLY lucked out.

I grew up in a small town in Urbana County, But now my stomping grounds are Schaumburg, not to far from the places you are mentioning I believe. Been back now for almost 5 years. If and when you get back here, let me know we can hang, catch a couple of cold ones, maybe chill at Lou's or Giordano's:)...
