The Central Illinois area has a couple facebook groups.The Peoria, Bloomington, Champaign area is very active for events and they are a great group. The groups are by invite only. Mark Berry who is the MWG's Executive Officer or I can add you to the groups.

I have one of the Fenix Props liners for my Royal guard. They are nice but they are very warm. Since you will be installing fans and hardware, I would avoid their liner.
